The 2025 JTAA Flag Football season will begin August 30th, 2025 and run through November 15th.  It is open to boys and girls ages 5-15.  Players of any and all skill levels are encouraged to play.

Answers to the most common questions

Flag Football is a Fall sport, therefore registration is open on April 1 through June 1.  

If there are still available slots after June 1, there is an additional $20 late registration fee.

The cost to play is $170 for 1st child and $160 for each additional child.

Player Registration is done online at the JTAA Website.  Click the registration button when Fall registration opens.

Flag football is a very popular sport and many of our divisions fill up quickly.  There are limited spaces in each division and once a division is filled, players will go on a waiting list.

There is no guarantee to play if on the waitlist.

Player division is based on the child’s age as of August 31, 2025.

The current age divisions are:

All registrations are done in Blue Sombrero.  You must create an account on Blue Sombrero to register your child for a sport.  The only sports that will display are the sports that have open registration.

Yes, evaluations are mandatory, all players must be evaluated to be drafted.  Any player that does not get evaluated will be randomly placed on a team 

Evaluations are intended only for players that are actively registered and not on a wait list.

Unfortunately, no new registration applications will be accepted during evaluations.

Evaluations are mandatory.  All active (non-wait listed) flag football registered age division players regardless of being new to the league or having participated in previous seasons will need to attend evaluations on Saturday, July 19th as outlined below.  For player evaluations,  please only show up according to your age division between times noted below.

 

Player evaluations for all age divisions will take place at Jupiter Community Park (JCP) – 3377 Church Street, Jupiter, FL 33458.  Players will need to check in first and will be evaluated on running the 40-yard dash, catching, and passing.  For the 5-6 Division, they would only be evaluated on the 40-yard dash.

 

Saturday, July 19th:

5-6 Age Division:

Show up anytime between 9am and 10am

7-8 Age Division:

Show up anytime between 9:15am and 10:30am

9-10 Age Division:

Show up anytime between 9:30am and 10:45am

11-12 Age Division:

Show up anytime between 9:45 and 11:00am

13-15 Age Division:

Show up anytime between 9:45am and 11:00am 

 

Please note:  Evaluations are only for players who are actively registered and not wait listed.  WE will not be evaluating any walk-up no-registered players.  In addition, players cannot evaluate on a different time outside of their above date and timeframe:  Example a 13-15 age division player cannot evaluate at 9am. 

Each season has a scheduled picture day.  This day will be communicated at the beginning of the season.
